Inlet for Mac
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Inlet does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
What Inlet accesses
With your permission, Inlet reads your Reminders lists and calendars and creates the reminders and events you type. This happens entirely on your Mac through Apple's Reminders and Calendar frameworks. Your reminders and events sync through your own iCloud account exactly as they would if you added them in Apple's apps.
Inlet stores only its own settings, such as your keyboard shortcut and last-used mode, on your Mac.
Update checks
Inlet can check this website for new versions. It asks before turning on automatic checks, and you can also check by hand from its menu bar icon. An update check downloads a small file listing the latest version. Like any web request, it reaches our hosting provider with your IP address and the app's name and version. Inlet sends nothing about your reminders, events, calendars or Mac in that request, and we don't use these requests to track anyone.
What Inlet does not do
- It does not send your reminders, events or calendars to us or to any third party.
- It has no accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking.
Permissions
You can revoke Reminders or Calendar access at any time in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
